Essay 4 Toy Story

I like this movie because I often watched it when I was child. It is one of the most famous movies in Disney movies. I watched it for the first time when I was six years old and it was so interesting.
I sometimes want to watch this movie now.

The main character is Woody who is a cowboy doll. He lives in Andy's house with other toys. Woody is the favorite toy for Andy and he is a leader of the other toys. They cannot move while Andy is still awake. Andy will get a new toy in his birthday so Woody comes to be upset because he thinks a new toy becomes Andy's favorite toy. On Andy's birthday, a new toy comes to Andy's house. He is Buzz Lightyear who is a new hero of the planet. Andy instantly comes to love him and he is so cool. Every toy is interested in him. One day an accident happened. Buzz fell out from window in Andy's room. They think that falling of Buzz is because of Woody.

I like these characters very much because they are so cute. My favorite character is Woody because his face is so cool and he is the leader of other toys. I have a doll of Woody and I bought it in Tokyo Disney Land. I put it beside my bed. There are a lot of unique characters in this movie. Mr. potato head is the most unique character in it. His face can be changed easily so his face is usually changed. I have his doll, too. I was presented it by my girlfriend. She likes this movie, too. We sometimes rent this series of Toy Story at TSUTAYA and these are something that is not boring. All series of this movie are so fun for me so I will rent it again. I want to know other movies in Disney.

New Year's plan

I usually come back to Amakusa every year by bus. It takes about three hours to Amakusa so I usually sleep in bus. As soon as I come back to Amakusa, we went to Ushibuka where my father's hometown. We usually can not come back in all family so the New Year's Day is an important day in year. My birthday is December 31 so I am celebrated by my family every year. It is very good thing for me. I will go fishing this year. I like to go fishing with my friend and family. We can eat fresh fish that we caught a few minutes ago.

We go to Hatsumoude with all family. It is so interesting.

I want to go travel somewhere with my family in the future.

shopping

I bought a new cap with my friend yesterday in shimotori. I wanted a new cap since three month ago so I am happy now. It was pay day so I took my friend to go shopping. He wanted to go shopping somewhere yesterday and he wanted to buy a new clothe. We went to NEWS in kamitori and there are a lot of things to wear in winter. I tried to buy a new jacket there but it was high cost. He bought a new jacket there and it costs about ten thousand yen. He said that I bought a good thing.
After shopping, we went to yakiniku at heizou. Every shop of yakiniku were full of people so we walked around about one hour. It was very tired but it was also interesting thing. I want to go shopping again. I have to save money to buy a new thing.

high school trip

One of the most enjoyable days I ever spent was traveling to Fukuoka with my girlfriend last month. We went together to Fukuoka for the first time so we were looking forward to the trip. The purpose of the trip was celebrating her job. We had been planning this trip since this summer. We went to Fukuoka by bus and it took three hours. We entered a dining room as soon as we arrived in Fukuoka. We ate mizutaki there. It is a famous dish in Fukuoka and it is similar to hot pot cooking. After lunch we went shopping in Canal City in Hakata. I bought some All Star shoes for her and she looked so happy. We went to the hotel that we booked as soon as we finished shopping. We left our baggage and we went to Tenjin for dinner and shopping. She wanted to go to Forever 21, a famous shop in Japan, so we went there. I ate gyoza and oden for dinner. The yatai of Fukuoka are famous in Japan because they were shown on TV. We ate our delicious dinner, then we went back to our hotel. The next day, we got up early and went to eat mentaiko. My friend told me about a famous mentaiko shop in Fukuoka, so we went there. The shop is in Nakasu and it was already full of people. We were surprised and waited a few minutes. Finally, we ate the food and it was the most delicious food that I had ever eaten. We enjoyed this trip. We will go to Kurokawa hot spring on Christmas day. I want to make some more memories with her.

BR 2-08: Wuthering Heights

I knew this book when I attended a class of English literature. I compared with Wuthering Heights and Jane Eyre in the class. I like Jane Eyre better than Wuthering Heights. Main character of this story is Heathcliff. He was very poor boy when he was a child. He loved a woman at that time. They loved each other. The woman named Catherine. She could not marry Heathcliff because he was an orphan and she had a longing to the living of rich class. Heathcliff disappeared after she married to Edgar. But he came back and he decided to revenge to people that caused pain him.

I read this book and I became to be sad because he had never became happy. If he married Catherine, I think the ending was different. But I admired his love because he loved the only person in his life. I think that it is a great thing. I could not do such him. Because of environment, he became such a poor person. Wuthering Heights was his revenge story.

In opposite, Jane Eyre was good. Jane was happy because she could live with a man who loved the best in the last scene. She had experienced a lot of bad things since she was a child. But she had a good luck different from Heathcliff.

After reading these books, I want to know more about the difference of these books and I wanted to read other books.

BR 2-07: Jane Eyre

It was written by Charlotte Bronte who is a novelist in Britain. This novel's heroine is Jane who is not a beautiful. The dissatisfaction of an orphan and the consciousness of the equality of the sexs are written in it. These were unimaginable things at that time. This heroine is marrying after free love regardless of a property and statue.

Jane became an orphan and she grew while receiving the harassment by Mrs. Reed and her children. Jane became to be nine years old and she would go to the Lowood school. She met a kind doctor and Helen Burns. She became to love him but he was dead by a tuberculosis.

Jane lived in Lowood as a student and teacher for eight years and she became to work in Rochester's house as a house teacher. They were loving each other but the happiness did not continue for a long time.

Reading this book, I was very happy. I felt that Jane is miserable at first but she married Rochester who she love the best. I think that the chance which can meet and marry with the person you love the best. I envy her so I want to meet the person who love the best in the future. I want to read the book named Wuthering Heights. It was written by Emily Bronte who is the sister of Charlotte Bronte.

BR 2-06: Beowulf

Beowulf is an epic poem which is the oldest thing of the English literature. It is composed three thousands rows and it is regarded as the most precious literature in linguistics. This is the story about the competition of Beowulf and a giant and a dragon in Denmark.

The Denmark king Hrothgar built a huge hall for himself on top of a craggy hill at the edge of the moors. The hall was made of the finest wood, decorated with ivory, silver and dazzling gold. The king called it Heorot. One night he held a party in this hall to celebrate a completion of it. The hall was full of singing and laughter. People ate and drank until they fell asleep. But outside, something evil was rising.

Across the moor, there is a giant named Grendel. The warrior's laughter had woken him from sleep and he hated laughter. The warriors were terrified because the doors of Heorot were smashing suddenly. They had never seen anything happen outside. After Grendel entered in the hall, he killed the warriors of Hrothgar. Grendel returned every night for months. There is no one lives in Heorot. The king was heartbroken and asked Beowulf to killing the giant.

One night Grendel went to the Heorot and Beowulf won the battle with Grendel. Grendel escaped because he lost his arm by Beowulf. After won, Grendel's mother went back to Heorot for revenge. Beowulf won the battle,too. After the battle, he became a new king of Heorot.

I read this book in the class of this university. I have seen this movie two years ago. It was so interesting and Beowulf is very strong and cool. Instantly I become to like this story because I like to watch action story. There are a lot of action story such Beowulf in the world. I think that an action story is interesting in the present day and in old day. I want to read action story in the world.
