Essay 1-03: My hometown

My home town is Amakusa in Kumamoto. There is a beautiful sea and nature. My home is in front of the sea. When summer comes, I go fishing and swim in the sea. There is a port near my house, and ships always come and go. My house is a very livable house because cool wind blows in summer but when winter comes, it is very cold.

Amakusa is a big town in Kumamoto. But the train does not go and there is no tall buildings, either so we have to go by car wherever we want to go anywhere.

In Amakusa, there is a famous person named “Shiro Amakusa”. He played an active part in the fight called the Shimabara rebellion. There is no person who doesn’t know him. There are many images of him in Amakusa. I want everyone to go and see these images. 

Recently, Amakusa has been developed. Many convenience stores were built and a lot of amusement parks were built, too. My old school was replaced with a new one. I am sorry that the school building with the old memories disappeared but I am satisfied because many memories are in my brain. I want to talk about our school’s memories with my friends. Entering this university, the chance which I could play old friends has disappeared so I want to go home in Golden Week and I want to play with my friends.  

In this summer, I will go to Amakusa for a camp so I want to introduce a lot of good places of the Amakusa to my friends and I want everybody to come to my home town. I know a lot of good stores in Amakusa. I want my friends to eat good fish and delicious vegetables. I am looking forward to go to my hometown with my friends.

Music

My favorite singer is BIG BANG. They are so cool. Their songs make me so excitied. Under the influence of a friend, I become to like them. My favorite yheir song is feeling. This song make me a lot of fun. I want to go their LIVE some time. I always sing their song in karaoke. I like to go to karaoke with my friend. I want to go to karaoke every week. So I want a lot of money. 

I like Maroon5, too. Their song is very cool. I usually sing their songs when I went to karaoke.

Shopping

I went shopping yesterday. I bought three clothes in BIG Time. It was fun, because it was the shop which wanted to go for some time. I can enjoy it just to watch clothes. After the shopping, I went for a part-time job. I was able to spend it being enriched very much. If a salary comes, In addition, I want to go to this shop for shopping.

My favorite sports

My favorite sport is soccer. I have played soccer when I was junior high school. My brother played soccer, too.  I wanted to be a soccer player. I was given a soccer ball in twelve birthday. But I have not gone for a game. I played soccer after school with my friends every day. I am a member of a soccer club in this university. My favorite soccer player is Osako.  His play make me exciting. I played soccer every day because I want to be a soccer player when I was seven years old. I'd like to play soccer with my friends if I have free time.

My girlfriend plays table tennis in this university. She has played it when she was three years old. She went to Keisei high school which is famous table tennis' s good skill. I play it with her when we have a free time. She has gone an inter high. She is a cut man. I have not ever won her.

My favorite animal

My favorite animal is dog. I have a dog named Gon. My father named him. When he is three years old, he became a family. He is black and very big. So I cannot walk it. He follows only my father. I cannot meet him from last summer. So I want to go home early.

I want to buy a tiger in the future. This is because it was affected by a movie called Araddin. The tiger will protect me from danger. The tiger's baby is very cute. My friend have a tiger's baby. I have many time to see it in the zoo. I think they are very cute when I went to there. Their baby is no danger.

I like to corret the shoes. I have many shoes which brand is diffferent. My favorite shoes is Reebok's shoes. I bought this shoes at Beauty and Youth that is select shop. This is shoes which I wanted from 1 year ago. I wear the shoes only fine day. These shoes are very easy to walk.

I want some nike's shoes. I have two shoes in this brand. I bought Air Max last month.

There are many things that I want.

I want to buy some clothes. I want some pretty T-shirts for summer. I would like to go to the sea this year, so I want some pretty swimsuits, too. I usually buy some clothes in Beauty and youth. The store's clothes are very expensive. Last month I bought the shoes that I wanted. I like this shoes very much. My favorite brand is Reebok. I want to buy the brand's shoes more. 

I would like to see a lot of world's cultural and natural heritages. When I was in high school, I liked the class of the world history. So I had interested in these. I want to go the most is Machu Pikchu. This is the remains in Peru. I have never gone abroad so I want to go.Therefor I will take a passport. I want a camera because I want to take some pictures destination.

Essay 1-02: my treasure

My treasure is my friends. They always help me when I need someone's help. I can always laugh, thanks to my friends and I can live happily. I entered this university and make a lot of friends. I belong to the same derartment with them. The club is same, too. I can live a fun time thanks to them every day.

I made a girlfriend at the university. She always considers me number one and better than everyone else. I love her. I want to take her to a lot of places. But I don’t have a driving license so I want to get one. I will get my driving license in this summer.

First, I want to take her to my hometown in Amakusa. She wants to go there. I couldn't go home last summer so I want to go home this summer. I want to go to the sea with her. There are many famous beaches at my home. There is the sea in front of my house, too. I often go fishing with my father so I want to take her to go fishing together with my father.

Second, I want to take her to Kyoto. I wanted to go there when I was child. There are many famous temples that I want to go to. I would like to go to the Kiyomizu temple to get a fortune. I want to eat “yatuhashi” which is a famous food from Kyoto. I would like to see the world heritage sites.

Although various treasures have been described, my family is a very important treasure, too. Therefore, I would like to do something that makes my parents glad. I would like to give a travel ticket to my parents on my mother's birthday. I presented a Japanese alcohol to my father last month. He liked it very much. So I want to present delicious alcohol to him again.

My 21th birthday

My birthday is December 31. I returned to my parent’s home, but I kept over the winter in Kumamoto this year. I work part-time at a restaurant. The staff in the store and friends celebrated my birthday. I also got two cakes. One person of a staff said that a bicycle was presented to me. I wait for the present now.

I have a girlfriend of the same age for me. She invited me to “umazakura”. This store is a store of a horse meat dish. I thought I would like to go there before. I was very satisfied to eat a course menu. When I went home, I got some presents. She presented me a wristwatch and back. I was very happy. I put those on every day.

My girlfriend’s birthday is July 1. I want her to be very happy. I want to surprise to her.

There is a national geographic photographer named Karen Kasmauski. She talks about why she thinks Mount Fuji is such an important mountain for Japanese people. She feels that it may be viewed from almost anywhere around it. Another reason for Fuji's importance in Japanese culture is that some people feel that Mount Fuji is a goddess.

I think Mount Fuji is important for Japanese people like this author. There are a lot of tourist spots around Mount Fuji. It is known from foreign countries as a Japanese symbol. I have seen it when I was in a high school trip. It was very big and beautiful. I would like to climb the mountain sometime. I want Mount Fuji to be popular all over the world and the tourist who comes to Japan become more. Mount Fuji is drawn by many painters. Many children know Mount Fuji. Hello, my name is Naoto. Please call me Naoto. I’m twenty-one years-old. I live in kumamoto with my sister and brother. I belong to the foreign language department and I study English hard. I was interested in doing a  homestay so I am very happy to go to visit you.

I would like to introduce my family. My father is fifty years old and his hobby is fishing. I like to go fishing with my father. He often takes me many places. I like to eat fish, too. When I come home, he takes me to go fishing. I am looking forward to go fishing with my father. I want him to take my friends to go fishing this summer. If you like to go fishing, please come to my house. You can go fishing with me.   

My mother’s hobby is taking pictures. When she has free time, she goes to the mountain and the sea to take pictures. My house is full of pictures that she has taken. She is very kind and interesting. I want to you to meet her sometime.

My brother is twenty-two years old. He likes running since he was in junior high school. He is a member of the track and field team in our school. He can not only run fast, but also study hard. I have respected him since I was child.

My sister is nineteen years old. She likes to study English and likes western music. She always sings such song when I go to karaoke with her. She would like to go abroad sometime. I want to go abroad with her.

I am looking forward to see your family. Please introduce your family to me when I go to the United States. I take a family’s picture and famous fish sausage from Amakusa.
